The kids had Monday & Tuesday off from school for teacher workdays. So...we decided to surprise them & go to Great Wolf Lodge for the night. There is one in Concord, NC which is only about 30 minutes from our house. We told the kids we were going to the mall, which we did. Then we went to Wendy's for lunch. After lunch we went to GWL. The kids were sooo surprised. They have a huge indoor water park. When you stay one night you get 2 full days at the water park. So...we got the most out of it & stayed all day on Monday as well. There is also Magiquest which you buy these wands & go through the hotel on a sort of scavenger hunt to complete quests. The kids had a blast!! It's an awesome place to go for the night. But it was a pretty cold in the water park and very crowded. I guess everyone had the same idea for the day off from school. We'll definitely go back again!
